INTRODUCTION

Infrastructure Management Systems London (IMSL Rail) was formed in 2004 to serve both Network Rail and project works contractors to provide a dedicated and quality service in Asset Management and Transfer of Maintenance Responsibility (ToMR) of new and renewed re-signalling railway construction projects.

The timely development of Asset Management Plans (AMP) are a crucial part of rail construction projects as well as closing out Health& Safety Files and all associated necessary deliverables. IMSL Rail provide this service meeting updated standards and C(D&M) regulations.

IMSL Rail have been successful in delivering these services to its clients on  West Coast Mainline new and renewal construction upgrade between Crewe and Gretna in recent years to both Network Rail and Project Works Contractors. The company is now engaged in a major resignalling project on the North London Line in readiness for the 2012 Olympics for Network Rail.  

POLICY & OBJECTIVES

IMSL Rail's quality policy is to achieve sustained, profitable growth by providing services which consistently satisfy the needs and expectations of its customers.

This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures  that  reflect  the competence  of  the Company to existing customers, potential  customers and independent auditing authorities.

Achievement of this policy involves staff and associates, who are individually responsible for the quality of their work, resulting in a continually improving  working  environment for all. This policy is provided and explained to each employee by the Director of the Company.

To achieve and maintain the required level of assurance the Director retains responsibility for the Quality System with routine operation controls.

The objectives of the Quality Assurance System are:

a) To maintain an effective Quality Assurance System complying with LINK-UP Quality Systems to which we are currently working towards for approval. 

b) To achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the Company’s reputation with Customers.

c) To ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements.

d) To endeavour, at all times, to maximize customer satisfaction with the services provided by
